2021, Oil on Canvas 14”x14””x1/2”

This original painting is a nod to the pride flag: Red for life, orange for healing, yellow for sunlight, green for nature, blue for serenity and purple for spirit. 

The colours I used are not presented in the traditional flag sense but rather against a silver background, making them stand out. Pride means something different to everybody and I wanted the colour variations and intertwining threads to symbolize the importance of acknowledging your sexuality, whatever form it takes.
